Uptown Charlotte Walking Tour
Katie Camille
If you're visiting Charlotte, you likely will stay in the Uptown area as that's where most of the hotels are. Uptown is a great starting point to see what Charlotte has to offer. I recommend walking on a cooler day, the heat down here is no joke but makes a good excuse for ice cream!

I've never been but this place is always PACKED. People travel to Charlotte just to go here, so it's on my to-see list!

I really enjoy walking around the outside of this church. It's a beautiful building that opened in 1893 and I always like to imagine what the city may have looked like then!

Mint Museum Uptown in Charlotte, United States

Art fans head here! The Mint Museum is North Carolina's first art museum and has rotating exhibitions. It's a perfect rainy day activity or makes a great break from the heat!

After the park, head to Brevard Court for a drink, food, or ice cream! There's also a great CBD shop here that sells really nice hand lotion, or D8 gummies if you're into it ;)

Romare Bearden Park in Charlotte, United States

Start at the park for one of my favorite little areas to sit in. Bring a blanket and a cooler and have yourself a little picnic while you watch kids play in the splash pad and dogs run around! There's always ice cream and snowball stands around the park as well in case you need a sweet treat.

Still have room for more? Golden Cow will be your final stop to end the night with a scoop of ice cream. Made from scratch in store, they have rotating flavors that are amaaaazing. My favorite is their peanut butter!
