Mount Hood, United States
- nicolejordan
Mount Hood is another one of the cascade volcanoes and the tallest point in Oregon. Be sure to explore a bit because it's a pretty impressive volcano.

Portland, United States

Portland is definitely a funky city. Once again, I'm not a big city person but I've enjoyed some great food and live music here.

Seattle in Washington, United States
- nicolejordan
I'm not a big city person but Seattle is pretty cool with it's close proximity to the mountains and it's a city filled with a very outdoor mindset.

Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, United States
- nicolejordan
The Columbia River flows between Washington and Oregon. Starting in the west you will experience denser forests filled with waterfalls. As you make your way east you'll end up in the high desert of Washington/Oregon.

The Enchantments in Washington, United States
- nicolejordan
The Enchantments of Washington are another one of the most beautiful places in the state. Mountains peaks tower over the alpine lakes. This is a must see destination if you get the permit for it.

Leavenworth in Washington, United States
- nicolejordan
Leavenworth is probably the cutest town I've visited in Washington. It's Bavarian influence makes you feel like you're at Octoberfest in Germany. It is definitely a year round tourist destination. Enjoy a beer, float the river, or hike the Enchantments; there's opportunities for everyone.

Mount Shuksan in Washington, United States

Mount Shuksan is located next to Mount Baker. Although it is not a cascade volcano, this mountain has an impressive appearance. Check out this area at sunrise or sunset!

Mount Baker in Washington, United States
- nicolejordan
Baker is the most northern cascade volcano in the US. It is also heavily glaciated and stands tall between Canada and Rainier. It is a popular skiing, hiking, and mountaineering destination.

North Cascades National Park in Washington, United States
- nicolejordan
North Cascades is my favorite national park in Washington and one of my favorite in the US! Considered the American Alps, this mountain range offered impressive sites. Bright blue lakes in the valleys, gorgeous pine forests, and snow and glaciated peaks in the alpine. The diversity and expansive views are magnificent.

Olympic National Park in Washington, United States
- nicolejordan
Olympic National Park is so different from the other parks in Washington. In fact, the whole Olympic Peninsula is unique with the ocean along the coast, the rainforest at lower elevations, and the glaciated peaks at higher elevations. The variety of biomes creates a diverse environment and offers different experiences every season.

Mount Rainier National Park in Washington, United States
- nicolejordan
One of the three Washington national parks, Mount Rainier is the largest/tallest cascade volcano. The park is incredible. Visit in the spring for the incredible wildflowers, come in the summer for the greatest access to hiking as the snow is melted away, enjoy the beautiful foliage in the fall, or take the daring drive in the winter to see the whole park blanketed in snow.

I LOVE Bend. It is such a cute town. Very outdoorsy. Mountain biking, climbing, hiking, skiing. This town offers everything depending on the season and with the Deschutes River running right through town you'll find many ways to enjoy.
