Christmas in Florida

Even though the temps will probably be in the 70s for Christmas, it doesn't mean that we don't celebrate Christmas in Florida! These are some of my favorite places in my home town to get in the Christmas spirit.

  Such a great experience! Watch avid surfers in the area (and from pretty far away sometimes) dressed as Santa and surfing the Cocoa Beach area!

  I know the mall is a pretty generic place to add to a Christmas list but this mall has something really cool to get you in the Christmas spirit. It's called The Ornament Station and it has been a staple in the mall for years. The personalize Christmas ornaments with your family members names! They make great gifts and you can get one for just about any hobby that someone does!

  Every year there is a drive to collect items needed by the unhoused in Brevard County. It's called Christmas in a Pack and it helps a lot of people. Stop by Monday Dec 19 to donate any items!

  The Community Center has a vendor craft fair every year during Christmas time. I've found many a gift here.

  This is the launch place for the Merritt Island Christmas Boat Parade. There aren't many place in the world where you can watch people deck out their boats in Christmas lights and float down the river. It's a pretty cool sight.
